Welcome to the Commack Jewish Center Web Site.
Commack Jewish Center (CJC) located in Commack, Long Island, NY is a traditional Conservative synagogue affiliated
with United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. Our synagogue employs a full-time rabbi, Rabbi William Berman, and
a full-time cantor, Hazzan Neil Berris. Commack Jewish Center has an active Sisterhood and Men's Club for its adult
members. Our rabbi also conducts well-attended Adult Education classes. Our youth attend our in-house religious
school from pre-kindergarten through seventh grade as well as a community-wide Hebrew High School. We are proud
of our three active youth groups: Nitzanim for third through fifth graders, Kadima for sixth through eighth graders
